The Goliath Lite Hotend 2.85 — High-Flow Performance for Large-Diameter Filaments.

The Goliath Lite Hotend is a high-flow hotend designed by Mellow in collaboration with the VzBot team. Now available in a 2.85mm version, this model retains all the exceptional performance of the original while being specifically optimized for large-diameter filaments.

Different from the original Goliath Hotend with a maximum temperature of 450°C, this Lite version works up to 350°C, which is fully competent for most common 3D printing materials. Paired with 24V 30mm 110W high-performance heating ceramic plates, it provides stable heating for the hotend, and the temperature sensor uses PT1000 for stability and accuracy.

• TC4 Titanium Heatbreak: Leveraging the exceptionally low thermal conductivity of titanium, this heatbreak establishes a highly efficient "thermal barrier" between the heater block and the heatsink. This significantly reduces upward heat transfer, effectively preventing premature softening and expansion of the filament inside the throat (heat creep), thereby eliminating the risk of clogs.
• TC4 Titanium Fixing Screws: Compared to standard steel screws, titanium screws offer superior structural strength while further minimizing the heat transfer path. They also reinforce the structural stability of the heatbreak connection, ensuring reliable performance under demanding conditions.

The nozzle is made of hardened steel, which is wear-resistant and can support carbon fiber printing.
