The D-series mainboard was developed by our FLY team to create a more cost-effective DIY 3D printer solution. It offers two chip options: one with the STM32F407 running at 168Hz and another with the STM32H7 running at 550Hz. The D8 version boasts extensive expandability, featuring numerous ports to drive up to 8 motors and support SPI, UART, and standard modes. It also accommodates BLTouch or proximity sensors for auto-leveling.

Key features include:

• Two RGB light ports

• One UART port

• One 12864 display port

• Four NTC temperature sensor ports

• Six controllable fan ports (each supporting up to 1A current), with independent voltage selection between VCC/12V/5V

• Three hotend heater ports

• One heated bed port (supporting up to 20A)

• Six limit switch ports

• A dedicated RS232 port for toolboards

Since some USB interfaces on host computers are limited, we’ve added a dedicated USB expansion port as well as a versatile USB/RS232 switchable interface for user convenience. The board is equipped with 10A and 15A fuses to ensure safe operation. Additionally, the driver slots feature protection circuits to prevent MCU damage due to driver short circuits.
